I have been very blessed to partner with some really good and talented people to win some contracts that will continue in 2024:
  • Teamed with Kittelson & Associates on a project for Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety for the Florida DOT Central Office in Tallahassee
  • Teamed with Choice Engineering on a project for Districtwide Traffic Signal Retiming in Florida DOT District 6 office in Miami
  • Teamed with TEDS on a project doing Traffic Studies for the Florida DOT District 7 office in Tampa
  • Teamed with Gresham Smith & Associates on a project doing Traffic Safety Studies for the Florida DOT District 5 (Central Florida) office in DeLand
  • Teamed with JMT & Associates on a project doing Safety Studies and Minor Design for the Florida DOT District 1 office in Bartow
  • Teamed with Benesch & Associates to do Safety Studies and Minor Design for the Florida DOT District 7 office in Tampa 
  • Working with the University of South Florida and the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) where I will be delivering training courses throughout Florida on a variety of topics

In 2019 I joined the John Maxwell Team of speakers, trainers, and coaches. This allows me to teach courses and workshops based on many of John's books and resources. This greatly adds to the capabilities of Hagen Consulting Services!   
Hagen Consulting Services is an approved provider of continuing education Professional Development Hours (PDHs) by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. We are also approved as a provider for training in Engineering Ethics and Laws & Rules! The Florida Board of Professional Engineers has approved my one-hour "Ethics" course which engineers will need in order to renew their engineering license by February 2025. The Ethics course is now available here. The Board has also approved my Laws & Rules course for the required one PDH of Laws & Rules. The Laws & Rules course is available here. I also have other PDH-eligible courses available via my online training site.  
For 2024, I have committed myself to strive to continue living by the 5 L's:
  1. Lord - I desire to give God glory in all that I do.  
  2. Love - I strive to be a better husband and father this year
  3. Labor - work diligently and joyfully in all that I do.
  4. Learn - I will strive to continually learn and grow. 
  5. Laugh - I will continue to have fun doing the things that I do and try to share that laughter and joy with others. For instance, check out our Employee of the Month page.​
